Refreshing Iceberg Salad

Ingredients:

1 head Iceberg Lettuce

1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil (I love this one)

1/2 tbsp each; Dried Parsley, Dried Oregano, Dried Thyme.

1/2 tsp salt & Fresh cracked black pepper

How to:

  1. Prepare a large bowl of ice water.

  2. Chop head of lettuce into quarters (this allows for easier draining) or tear into bite sized pieces.

  3. Submerge lettuce in water for at least 10 minutes.

  4. Drain and lay lettuce out on a towel to air dry.

  5. Tear lettuce into bite sized pieces into a large bowl. Add Olive oil and seasoning, mixing until fully incorporated.

That’s it!

Store any remaining salad in a container and consume within 3 days. The lettuce will get a little wilted but is still super tasty.
