Breakfast Sausages
Ingredients:
1 lb Sausage (Pork or Turkey*) I recommend this brand or Butcher Box for the cleanest ingredients.
1 Medium Zucchini (Shredded) I recommend organic cuz you’re eating that skin.
2 tsp Onion Powder
How to:
1 - Using a box shredder, shred up your zucchini over a medium bowl.
2- Add 2 tsp onion powder and 1 lb of sausage. Stir until fully incorporated.
3- Grab a small handful f mix and form into palm sized patties.
4- Using a Cast Iron Skillet, fry sausages in batches over medium-high heat until browned on each side. This is take ~5 mins each. ✅
Makes ~10 Sausages
notes:
If using turkey or a lean sausage, you may need to add a high-heat/temperature stable oil, bacon grease, ghee or coconut oil work best.
Reheat in a toaster oven for best results.
Make a double batch to have them at the ready for quick mornings. Their high protein/fat content are sure to satisfy and keep you feeling fuller longer.
