Chocolate Cherry Sea Salt Protein Balss

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Gluten Free Rolled Oats

1/2 cup Gluten Free Quick Oats

1 tbsp sea salt plus more for sprinkling on top after

1/2 Chocolate Protein Powder (i recommend either this or this brand)

2 Tbsp Prebiotic Fiber

1/2 cup Nut Butter like Almond or Cashew (could use other nut/seed butter like sunflower).

5 Tbsp Coconut Oil, melted

1/2 cup Dried Cherries, chopped

1/4 cup Cocoa Nibs

1/2 - 3/4 cup Raw Cashews, chopped

How To:

In a large bowl, combine oats, protein and fiber ingredients.

Add nut butter and melted coconut oil and combine to form a nice batter.

Add crunchy add ins.

Add butter mixture to the dry ingredients to form a batter. If the batter is too dry add 1-2 tbsp warm water. The batter should be firm and hold shape when rolled.

Using a cookie scoop or large tbsp spoon, gather batter and form into a ball and place on parchment lined baking sheet. Option to add a sprinkle of sea salt on top. Once done allow balls to set in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.

Store balls in am air-tight container and they will remain good for 2-3 weeks.
